The hotel was in a central location in the center of the city. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the a double room itself was fantastic and immaculate. All the staff were informative, really kind. The continental breakfast offered a great selection of food, something for everyone's taste.

Been to the pub on a Friday night for a drink on a few occassions. I can understand it being close to Newcastle and on a Friday night that it can get quite full but when all you can hear is constant swearing with the F word and the staff don't take any notice or it's the manager that's sitting with the ones that are swearing, it spoils the atmosphere of the pub. I am glad I am not a guest at the hotel.
Close to town. Various drinks and ales.
Constant swearing as if the place is a bar. Staff or Manager have a couldn't care less attitude. I myself have worked in s bar for years and would not stand for this. I pity those who are staying.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this little hotel. the property is in a magnificent location, close enough to walk into the town center. Overall, we had a nice 2, night stay at the Victoria in Newcastle, under, Lyme. the little hotel was lovely, and its prime location made it easy for us to explore the town center on foot. It was also conveniently close, only 3 miles away, from the Rainforest Pyramid.
